Watering of new landscaping
New Trees Should Be Watered 2-3 Times Per Week. Water Should Be Applied Using A Garden Hose. The Hose Should Be Laid At The Base Of The Tree, And Water Should Be Running At A Slow Trickle For Appx. 20-30 Minutes.

You Can Also Use A Root Feeder To Water New Trees. The Root Feeder Should Run For 15 Minutes And Be Moved At Least 3 Times Around The Root Ball. This Will Insure The Root Ball Of Your New Tree Will Be Soaked Properly.

All New Shrubs Should Be Watered Once A Day For The First 10 Days. After 10 Days Watering Can Be Cut Back To Every Other Day For One More Week. After That Shrubs Can Be Watered Twice A Week. Water Should Be Applied With A Hose For Appx One Minute Per Plant.
New Perennials Should Be Watered The Same As Shrubs. Each Perennial Should Be Watered For Appx. 30 Seconds Per Plant.

Watering New Plants With A Lawn Sprinkler Is Not Recommended. Watering This Way Is A Waste Of Water And Some Plants Will Get To Much Water And Others Not Enough. Your Plants Can Become Stressed Or Die From To Much Water Just As Easy Not Enough Water.

Trees Planted In The Yard And Get Watered From Lawn Sprinklers Will Not Need Extra Water.

If You Follow These Simple Watering Guidelines Your Plants Will Become Established And Healthy Before You Know It.
