Perennial
BLACK EYED SUSAN One of the most popular daisy’s for its golden yellow flower with a dark center. Blooming from summer to late fall will give any landscape a burst of color. All perennials should be fertilized once a month during the growing season with Miracle-Gro or Milorganite fertilizer. Perennials should be cut back in late fall or early spring to help promote new growth.

BLUE HOSTA The name says it all. The dark blue foliage will stand out in any shade garden. With its white flowers in summer it just adds to the beauty of this plant. All perennials should be fertilized once a month during the growing season with Miracle-Gro or Milorganite fertilizer. All perennials should be cut back to the ground in late fall or early spring to help promote new growth.

BRANFORD BEAUTY FERN This eye catching upright clump fern has beautiful silvery-gray red stemmed fronds. This fern will definitely add a nice touch to any shade garden. (Fertilize with Miracle-Gro once a month.)

CLEMATIS This beautiful vine does best on a trellis to give any blank wall in full sun a burst of color during the summer. They come in a large variety of colors, and are able to take full sun the roots should be mulched to keep them cool and moist in through out the summer. All perennials should be fertilized once a month during the growing season with Miracle-Gro or Milorganite fertilizer. All perennials should be cut back to the ground in late fall or early spring to help promote new growth.

DAHLIA These daisy like flowers come in many colors. Flowers may be semi-double and double a taller annual that can reach 8-15” and will grow in sun or partial shade. (Fertilize with Miracle-Gro once a month.)

DELPHINIUM An exceptional perennial with spikes of blue, pink, of white flowers. They do get tall reaching 3-6 feet and may require staking to provide support. These plants make for a great specimen plant in a perennial garden. All perennial should be fertilized once a month during the growing season with Miracle-Gro or Milorganite fertilizer. All perennials should be cut back to the ground in late fall or early spring to help promote new growth.

DIANTHUS A very good low growing perennial that will only reach 12” tall. Coming in a variety of colors, the flowers look like miniature carnations. The late spring to early summer flowers also make for good cut flowers to bring indoors. All perennials should be fertilized once a month during the growing season with Miracle-Gro or Milorganite fertilizer. All Perenials should be cut back to the ground in late fall to early spring to help promote new growth.

FRANCE HOSTA Beautiful deep green leaves with a nice narrow white edge. Giving any shade garden all summer long only growing to be 15-18” tall will not take up a lot of room. Light lavender color flowers just add to this hosta’s beauty. All perennials should be fertilized once a month during the growing season with Miracle-Gro or Milorganite fertilizer. All perennials should be cut back to the ground in late fall or early spring to promote new growth.
