AGERATUM These soft fuzzy blue flowers add good color along the border of any garden. Flower colors are also available in blue tinged with mauve, white, and pink. This plant will grow in full sun to partial shade. (Fertilize with Miracle-Gro once a month.)

AJUGA A very low growing groundcover that will spread quickly. The leaves are a deep green or purple / bronze or variegated. The blue flowers appear in May and June. This groundcover is easy to divide and replant elsewhere. Ajuga will grow in both sun or shade. (Fertilize with Miracle-Gro once a month.)

ALPINE CURRENT Best if used for a hedge. This shrub will do well in both sun and shade. The Alpine Current can easily be kept to any size or shape by trimming. (Feed with Miracle-gro once a month.)

ANDORRA JUNIPER This semi-erect and spreading juniper has a nice silver-green color all summer changing to a silvery purple color in the fall giving it color all winter long. Grows to a height of 1-3 feet tall and spreading 608 feet wide. This is one of our favorite junipers. Should be fertilized 2-3 times per growing season with Miracid.

ANNABELLE HYDRANGEA A taller verity of hydrangea that will reach about 4’ tall. The huge globe shaped white flowers appear in June and will continue flowering through July and August. This plant will do well in full shade which make it the perfect plant for the north side of the house of a shade garden. (Fertilize with miracle-gro once a month.)

ANTHONY WATERER SPIREA This spirea will only grow to be 2-3 feet tall make it a good foundation plant for under windows. The beautiful rose-pink flowers will bloom all summer then in the fall the leaves will turn a brilliant red. The Anthony Waterer Spirea will give you color all growing season. (Feed with Miracle-gro once a month.)

ARISTOCRAT PEAR Hybrid of the Bradford Pear has a more vertical branching structure and stronger branches though. (Feed with milorganite granulars 3 times a year)

ARROWWOOD VIBURNUM A large upright shrub that will reach a height of 8-10 feet. A compact and dense white flower appears in late spring. Blue/black berries follow in summer that attract birds. The red purple fall color makes this plant colorful through the season. This plant will do well in wet areas and sun or shade areas. Mostly used for screening or privacy, but can be used closer to the house if trimmed can kept at a smaller size. (Fertilize once a month with miracle-gro.)

ASTILBE These feathery spikes of flowers come in a variety of colors. The dark green to bronze color leaves look almost like a fern. Growing to be 1 ½ - 2 feet tall these plants will do well in sun or partial shade giving color to any garden through out the summer. All perennials should be fertilized once a month during the growing season with Miracle-Gro or Milorganite fertilizer. Perennials should be cut back to the ground in late fall or early spring to promote new growth.

AUSTRIAN PINE Long sturdy dark green needles. Great for privacy and wind breaks. Can grow 18’ in 12-14 years. (Feed with acid granulars 3 times a year, but not after August)
